artist statement:
To live in beauty cannot mean to live in perfection. The world we all live in operates on life emerging from death. Living things do not live forever here, but instead are overwhelmed and broken down into dust. We are all made of dust, and into dust we shall return. My journey has been to emulate my experiences through imagery, to share good news about life and death, redemption, hope, beauty and grace. For I have been redeemed, so that I may live to enjoy the light.
